1) Frequent contacts with customers side to understand their needs and build up trust and
feeling of partnership
2) Ensure the customers enquiry contains sufficient information to allow the GPSC to quote
3) Entry of enquiries into SAP and forwarding to GPSC in a timely and accurate manner.
4) Stay in regular contact with customer to keep them advised of status of the enquiry.
5) Immediate forwarding of quotations to the customer once available and after reviewing
price and accuracy.
6) Follow up quotations in a timely manner and record all conversations with the customer
7) Immediately forward orders to GPSC and ensure prompt order confirmation to customers
8) Follow-up on open questions on quotes and orders and transfer important information to
9) CLOSE THE ORDER (or trace reasons for not getting an order and inform GPSC about
10) If problems, inform the customer immediately and find alternative solutions
11) Inform the customer about the delivery details (flight/trucking details, exact delivery places)
and proactively seek consigning information.
