Sales Manager (Retail) - Home Automation
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Manager (Retail) will be the primary driver of sales within our retail environment, focusing heavily on building and maintaining strong professional relationships with key industry stakeholders.
Architect/Interior Designer Network Development: Actively cultivate and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, and real estate developers to drive project-based sales and ensure our products are specified in new constructions and renovation projects.
Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue goals set by the company.
Client Management & Consultation: Provide a pleasant, welcoming, and expert consultation experience to retail customers, effectively demonstrating home automation products and converting inquiries into sales.
Proactive Client Communication: Be proficient in consistent calling and timely follow-up with leads, potential clients, and professional partners (architects/designers) to nurture relationships and move sales opportunities forward through the pipeline.
Site & Office Visits: Be fully prepared and willing to travel and visit client locations, project sites, or professional offices as required for presentations, site assessments, and relationship building.
Effective Communication: Utilize excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex product benefits clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences (professional partners and end-users).
Market Reporting: Provide regular feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to the management team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the retail sector or selling high-value technical/luxury goods in the interior industry.
Education: A Bachelor's degree (Any Graduate) from a recognized institution.
Language Proficiency (Mandatory): Fluency in speaking and writing English, along with conversational proficiency in Marathi and Gujarati is required.
