JOB DETAILS
This position is responsible for spearheading rural development projects through indepth community assessments, strategic planning, government alignment, and crossfunctional team oversight. The role demands proactive leadership, consistent execution,
and accountability in delivering measurable results over a multi-year framework.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed village-level assessments and design actionable long-term
project frameworks.
Monitor evolving community and environmental dynamics and adjust project
priorities when necessary, based on critical changes
Develop annual operational plans based on field realities and feedback from
stakeholders, with an emphasis on sustainability and measurable outcomes
Consolidate data and prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, half-yearly,
and yearly project performance updates, backed with clear evidence of outcomes
Establish working relationships with local authorities to align initiatives with
relevant government departments and systems
Identify and access suitable government schemes or public sector programs to
benefit target communities
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards related to project
operations, submitting timely documentation to concerned officials
Lead and supervise the project team, providing one-on-one support and tracking
staff performance regularly against the agreed plan
Represent the project at local, regional, and organizational forums.
Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Project Planning, or a related discipline
Experience
At least 5 years in development project execution
Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management role handling cross-sector teams
Should be from Christian Community.
